LUSH

I want to tell you about a great place called LUSH.
The location we went to was at  the Brea Mall.
I like that the products are not tested on animals. I learned that beagles are one of the animals tested on the most. The display of bath bombs was colorful and really pretty. They had so many to choose. I tried the fidget spinner. It lasted for 2 baths, smelled great and actually worked like a fidget spinner. I also tried Rainbow that you can use as soap, bubble bath, or shampoo. It was soft and I liked using it as bubble bath the most. I can’t wait to go back to Lush.

Our troop went on a field trip to LUSH in the Brea Mall.  The people who work there are so nice.  They taught us so much about animal testing and what LUSH does to fight against it.  The whole store smells amazing.  They put thought into everything even how things are packaged so that there is less trash and it helps the environment.  They will give you samples if you want to try something.  They let us make our own bath bombs.  It was really fun.  The also told us about an app to tell if a product is cruelty-free called "Cruelty Cutter" .  We all had a lot of fun and learned so much.  I want to go back soon.  -Nadine

LUSH was really fun.  At LUSH we learned a lot.  For example, I learned that the dog, Beagle, is the 3rd most tested on animal.  Also I learned LUSH supports many charities that help animals.  They sell stuff that would be good for camping like soap papers and dry shampoo.  Everyone in the troop got to make a cruelty-free bath bomb.  Also we tried some products.  The people who worked at LUSH were really nice.  I learned a lot and had a lot of fun.  I hope to return. -Jessi

Honestly Margo

Honestly Margo is a company started by a girl when she was only 12.  She does not test her products on animals.  Our troop got to Face Time with her and ask her any questions we wanted like how she started her business, how did she come up with her recipes, and many more.  We learned a lot and she was really nice.  She is now 17.  She sent us product to sample like bath fizz and body balms.  Everything smelled really good and I am glad we got to meet her. -Nadine

Honestly Margo is an business that is cruelty-free.  We got to use some of her products.  We Face Timed her and she was really pretty and nice too.  She gave us information about being cruelty-free and starting a business.  -Jessi

Brandless

Brandless is a really cool website my sister told me about.  All the products are $3.  They have so many items.  All their products are cruelty-free.  They have lots of items that are good for the environment too.  For example, tree-free toilet paper and paper goods.  We have tried lots of their things like dish soap, face soap, clean wipes, hand soap, toothpaste and lots more.  We have liked everything that we have tried.  I hope that you decide to try it especially because they are cruelty-free.  -Nadine
I used Brandless Surface cleaning wipes and they worked so great.  They smell pretty good and they are non-toxic and of course cruelty free.  -Kiana

Spinster Sisters

Spinster Sisters is a cruelty-free business.  We got to try their deodrant, soap and lip balm.  They all worked really well.  I learned that another interesting fact about the company is that all their power to run their factory comes from wind.  That means that in addition to being a cruelty-free company they care about animals AND the enviornment. -Jessi
